The future of any society rests on children and, therefore, social change in India cannot happen without focusing on this demographic. Millions of children are battling with health conditions related to lack of nutrition or hidden hunger. India has 70% anaemic pre-school children. Iron deficiency anaemia results in an eight point lower intelligent quotient (IQ) in children. This needs to be addressed directly. No social change in India is possible without feeding the children.
